This dataset captures electric vehicle charging infrastructure data and forecasts as of Q3 2025. It is currently scoped to the full Asia Pacitic region, covering China, India, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, S. Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand. The remainder of the region is forecasted at an aggregated level, including smaller markets ranging throughout Asia and the Pacific Islands. Metrics span from 2020 to 2050 for non-commercial EVCI and from 2025 to 2050 for commercial forecasts. Charging segments are categorized into residential, public, workplace, and commercial depot chargers, with further distinctions between L2 (AC) and L3 (DC) chargers. Details regarding the number of charging ports, capital expenditure in USD, and various types of electric vehicles (passenger and light trucks) are captured.
