In June, Wood Mackenzie released a comprehensive ranking of global solar PV module manufacturers based on unique scoring criteria. We evaluated more than 60 solar PV module manufacturers based on vendor surveys, public filings, proprietary databases, and dozens of conversations with manufacturers. The ranking utilizes a unique scoring methodology that examines nine different criteria, including module manufacturing experience, vertical integration, financial performance, capacity utilization and more. This ranking and associated research will provide suppliers, partners and stakeholders with crucial information to make strategic procurement decisions in this fast-paced market.
