Indonesia product markets long-term outlook H1 2020
Report summary
Indonesia had a total deficit of about 694,000 b/d for its oil products in 2019. The country had large deficits in gasoline, diesel/gasoil and LPG. Naphtha and jet/kerosene remained broadly in balance, whereas fuel oil was in slight surplus. Oil product demand grew over the past decade to reach around 1.87 million b/d in 2019. It is forecast to continue to grow based on an average growth of 2.1% between 2020 and 2040. Demand will reach 2.85 million b/d in 2040.
