Colombia 2014 licensing round preliminary results
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Colombia's 2014 bid round brought mixed results. Only 27% of the blocks on offer received bids, and limited interest was shown in onshore conventional and unconventional acreage. At the same time, offshore blocks attracted a healthy interest from large E&P companies. The final list of awarded blocks will be made available on 11 August, and will be determined by the company's financial capacity to develop the blocks for which it has submitted the highest bid.
