Asset Report
James Lime tight gas unconventional play
Report summary
The James Lime in the ArkLaTex basin remains a niche gas asset for a few of US independents and private operators. Exploration and development peaked in late 2009, but low gas prices caused a steep drop. Drilling activity halted in 2014 and operators now produce proved reserves, as the focus shifted to the Haynesville. We analyse the economics, history, geology, key companies of the James Lime formation.
