Event: On 1 July 2015, the Mexican Government published a 2015-2019 licensing plan, which calls for hosting annual licensing rounds. There are three rounds planned in addition to the ongoing Round 1. The government is planning to offer more than 750 opportunities covering 227,000 square kilometres in Rounds 2, 3, and 4.
