Woodbine tight oil unconventional play
Report summary
The Woodbine ("Eaglebine") formation is present across east Texas. It is a stacked pay opportunity as it underlies the Eagle Ford shale in the western part of the play. To the east, the Austin Chalk overlies the Woodbine and the Eagle Ford is not present. The Woodbine interval includes the Woodbine Dexter sandstones, Harris Delta sandstones, Lewisville formation and the lower "Madness" shale. Shale and silt are present at different depths throughout the play.
