Our guidance tracker is back by popular demand. The 106 companies that have announced 2018 budgets thus far will spend US$23.9 billion (10.8%) more on upstream exploration and development than in 2017. US focused companies' budgets are up 18% year-on-year. Investment is broadly flat among the Majors.
