Wood Mackenzie's annual research trip to Johannesburg and Maputo took place in September 2018. We met with the key upstream companies, financers, and service sector companies in the region, as well as the Mozambican national oil company ENH. 2019 promises to be a busy year in Mozambique with both of the major onshore LNG projects chasing sanction next year. In South Africa, a readjustment is needed to reverse declining production and encourage investors to explore in the prospective offshore. This slide pack contains the key takeaways from our trip.
