Report summary
A total of 129 companies have disclosed their 2024 capital budgets. Our tally has upstream investment at US$351 billion or 0.5% less than in 2023. When it comes to output, targets are up. Combined, the 117 companies that have announced 2024 production guidance expect to produce 1.1 million boe/d (2.0%) more than they did in 2023.
