Asset Report
Alpenvorland
Report summary
Wintershall-Dea operates a portfolio of oil and gas fields within the Alpenvorland or "pre-Alps" region. The fields make up part of the Molasse Basin which spreads along the northern front of the alpine range and covers areas of France, Switzerland and Germany. The region is mature and now only a minor producing province. Production peaked in the early 1970's and we assume that no further development drilling will take place.
