Asset Report
Alvheim
Report summary
The Alvheim development includes several oil and gas fields that are located to the west of the Heimdal field in the Norwegian North Sea, near the Norwegian-UK border. Production started in 2008 from three fields that were tied into the Alvheim floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel. Development of the Alvheim field has been continuous since production started. The KEG project was the most recent with production starting in October 2023. The Alvheim FPSO acts as a hub for the nearby Vilje, Volund, Boyla and Skogul fields. Oil is exported by shuttle tankers and gas is exported the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation pipeline system to the UK.
