The Alvheim development is located to the west of Heimdal in the Norwegian North Sea, near the Norwegian-UK border. It comprises several small to medium sized oil and gas discoveries that have been made since 1997.Production from the Kameleon, Kneler and Boa discoveries started in June 2008. These were tied into a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
