Argentina's Vaca Muerta shale play is experiencing a transformative period driven by major pipeline infrastructure developments and favourable policy reforms. However, the region faces a critical mismatch between expanding evacuation capacity and production capabilities. In December 2025, we spent five days in Argentina gathering notes and capturing local learnings to incorporate into our models and research.
