The Avalon field is located 150 kilometres northeast of Aberdeen in the Central North Sea. Discovered in 2014, Avalon is a stratigraphically trapped oil accumulation containing medium-heavy 22° API oil. Avalon will be developed with two horizontal wells tied-back to a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
