Report summary
The Ayatsil, Tekel and Utsil fields are located in the Sound of Campeche, about 130 kilometres northwest of Ciudad del Carmen. Given the geographical and geological similarities of these fields, we assume that Ayatsil, Tekel and Utsil will be part of a single development. Initial plans for an FPSO-led development have been abandoned. Pemex will develop Ayatsil, Tekel, and Utsil through the use of seven fixed drilling platforms.
