Report summary

Barsa Gelmes and Kotur Tepe are the largest onshore oil fields in Turkmenistan but are now at an advanced stage of depletion. The state owned fields are located in western Turkmenistan on the same trend as the huge Azeri Chirag Guneshli field (Azerbaijan) and PETRONAS' offshore Block 1 (Turkmenistan).
