BassGas
Report summary
The BassGas project is located offshore in the Bass Basin 110 kilometres north of Tasmania. Beach energy operates the project and is partnered by Prize Petroleum, a subsidiary of Hindustan Petroleum. The project consists of two gas fields - Yolla and Trefoil. Gas is processed onshore at the processing facility at Lang Lang, Victoria. Final investment decision (FID) was taken on Yolla in 2002 and first gas was achieved in 2006.
