Report summary

The BassGas project consists a gas processing facility at Lang Lang Victoria and the Yolla gas field located in the Bass Basin. Yolla is 110 kilometres north of Tasmania and is one of only two producing fields in Tasmanian waters. The other is Thylacine part of the Otway Gas Project. Yolla was discovered by Amoco in 1985.In July 2001 AWE and CalEnergy entered into a Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) with Origin Energy.
