Report summary
Block 26 is located in the northeast of Syria, bordering Iraq and Türkiye. Two oil fields in the block have been developed, under separate development licences. Khurbet East and Yousefieh. In late 2011, a third field, Al Khairat, was discovered but a development licence was not submitted prior to Force Majeure being declared.
