Report summary
Block 31 is located in an environmentally-sensitive region of the eastern Oriente basin, just west of the large ITT heavy oil fields. The majority of the block lies within the limits of the Yasuní National Park. There are four discoveries: Apaika/Nenke, Obe, Minta and Nashiño. Only Apaika/Nenke is being developed due to environmental concerns.
