Block 31-C contains the Aguaytia gas/condensate field, which was brought on-stream in 1998. Aguaytia's development was part of an integrated project which included a power plant, gas processing facilities, and a liquids fractionation plant to obtain gasoline and NGL's.This project was the first natural gas field development in Peru.
