Block 9 (Bangora)
Report summary
The Bangora field was discovered in 2004, in eastern Bangladesh and lies in a gas province with substantial gas infrastructure. Tullow commenced production from the field in 2006 and the gas enters the national gas distribution grid via the Bakhrabad-Ashuganj pipeline. In April 2013, Tullow sold its Bangladesh assets to Kris Energy, which included the Bangora asset.
