Report summary
Block Z-2B contains a group of oil and gas areas spread offshore in the shallow waters of the Talara basin in northwest Peru: Block Z-2B A, Block Z-2B B, Block Z-2B C and Block Z-2B D. The area has been producing since the 1950s and is now mature, with a large number of platforms installed and over 1,500 wells drilled. All produced oil and gas is piped to shore via a network of pipelines. The oil is sold to Petroperu's Talara refinery, and the gas is sold to Empresa Electrica de Piura ...
