BP's 2023 investor update
Report summary
BP held its investor day at bpx headquarters in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday 10 October. On Wednesday, the company took analysts and investors on a tour of its Permian operations in west Texas. We were fortunate to attend both events in person – this was BP’s first such event since Oman in 2018. This was not a strategy update – that came back in February. BP used this event to provide supplemental details around its confidence to deliver the plan to 2030 and beyond, focusing on upstream and biogas in particular, with new points of guidance in each.
