Report summaryDiscovered in 2001, Buzzard was the largest oil field to be found and developed in the UK in over a decade. Buzzard is located in the Outer Moray Firth Basin, 56 kilometres northeast of St Fergus.Production from Buzzard started in January 2007. The field makes a major contribution to UK production, accounting for around 20% of UK liquids output in 2014.
