Buzzard
Report summary
Discovered in 2001, Buzzard was the largest oil discovery in the UK in over a decade. It is located in the Outer Moray Firth Basin, 100 kilometres northeast of Aberdeen.Production started in 2007 and the field has made a major contribution to UK production, and still accounts for around 6% of supply, although it is now in decline.
