Can the Major's grow production out to 2035?
Report summary
The Majors have emerged from the downturn with revitalised growth prospects. Near-term production growth has not looked so strong for over a decade. Yet the longer-term picture remains challenging, despite strategic progress. All but the US Majors will need to access new volumes to avoid production declines from the mid-2020s. In this Insight, we benchmark the Majors’ production outlook. We analyse the main production growth drivers, drilling down to the base business, volumes under development, flexible growth options and contingent upsides. The report covers BP, Chevron, Eni, Equinor, ExxonMobil, Shell and Total.
