Report summary
The CB-OS/2 block is located in the shallow waters of the Cambay Basin on the west coast of India. Four notable discoveries have been made on the block - Lakshmi, Gauri, CBX and Ambe. Three of these, Gauri, Lakshmi and CBX, have been commercialised. The initial development of the CB-OS/2 block focused on the Lakshmi and Gauri gas fields. The oil-bearing formations in these fields were developed in 2007.
