The Ceará-Potiguar basins was an important producing area historically, but is no longer an investment priority for Petrobras. In 2017, the NOC started to divest some assets in the region, including the Pescada&Arabaiana, Polo Macau, Polo Ceará, Riacho da Forquilha, Fazenda Belem and Polo Potiguar which are covered in separated analysis.
