The Cerisa oil and discovery is situated 12 kilometres north east of the existing Gjøa field and its facilities in the Norwegian North Sea.The fields was discovered in 2024 by Var Energi and recoverable resources of 28 mmboe is expected.The discovered fields of Ofelia/Kyrre, Gjøa Nord and Cerisa will be developed as subsea tiebacks to the existing Gjøa semi-submersible platform, which will serve as the host facility for processing and export.
