The Chengdaoxi PSC, expiring in April 2026, contains a mature oil field, seven kilometres from the coast of western Bohai Bay. The initial development included 16 wells and a 24-slot production wellhead platform, with a processing capacity of 10,000 b/d. Output peaked in 2005 and declined thereafter.
