Diamondback is making its debut in the Delaware Basin by acquiring 19,180 net acres in the Southern Delaware Basin, with 1,000 boe/d of flowing production, for US$560 million. The acreage is mostly in Ward and Reeves counties. The seller is thought to be Luxe Energy, which secured the position only six months ago, in January 2016.
