Djambala, Foukanda and Mwafi are shallow water, late-life fields discovered on the former Marine VI exploration licence in Congo. Three development areas were carved out but combined in a single tax ring fence. The small Djambala field was the first to be put on production in 2000. Djambala and Foukanda are developed as tie-backs to Kitina, while Mwafi is a satellite of Loango. Crude is then transferred to the Djeno terminal for export.
