The mature, shallow water Djambala, Foukanda and Mwafi were discovered on the former Marine VI exploration licence in Congo between 1983 and 1998. Three development areas were carved out but these are under the same tax ring fence. The small Djambala field was brought onstream in 2000. Djambala and Foukanda are tie-backs to the Kitina field, while Mwafi is a satellite of the Loango field. Crude is transferred to the Djeno terminal for export.
