Report summary
The El Tordillo Area comprises three separate licenses in the northeastern San Jorge Basin operated by Tecpetrol: El Tordillo, Puesto Quiroga, and La Tapera. Since 2005 the operator has been using polymers (Colloidal Dispersion Gel) to improve the sweep efficiency.In 2024, secondary oil output accounted for roughly 60% of total production. Historically, the water cut has been increasing consistently, reaching approximately 94% in the same year.
