Report summary
The Western Libya Gas Project is Libya's only gas export project, supplying gas to Italy via the Greenstream pipeline. Gas is supplied from two fields: the offshore Bahr Es Salam field, located around 100 kilometres off the coast of Tripoli, and the onshore Wafa field, located close to the Algerian border. Gas and liquids produced from both fields are transported by pipeline to the Mellitah Complex for treatment, from where gas is supplied to the domestic market or for export via ...
