The Uzbek-Russian Gissarneftegaz JV operates two gas-prone blocks in south Uzbekistan. Its core fields are all producing, with discoveries on the nearby Tagam-Shimoli-Tandyr block targeted for future development start-up in the mid-2020s.Most production is gas and North Nishan is by far the largest field.
