Report summary
The global oil supply monthly report provides analysis on short-term global oil supply. The slide deck is accompanied by a related excel data download. Global oil supply has been lowered as vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz remain severely restricted. The production recovery timeline for key Middle East producers has been deferred based on our assumption that flows through the Strait of Hormuz now normalise through September 2026. We expect most producers will recover production to pre-conflict levels by early 2027, while Iraq could take longer due to greater technical complexity and reservoir maturity.
