Report summary
The global upstream project tracker provides an excel download that tracks the status of all major pre-FID projects worldwide. Published on a quarterly basis, the tracker allows you to see how these projects change from quarter to quarter. In the Q1 2016 edition we have added projects that were sanctioned in 2015. The general theme for changes this quarter has been overwhelmingly one of downgrades and deferrals. However the UK Scolty and Crathes project did graduate from pre-FID to under development. The tracker provides key details on over 200 projects which account for over 90 billion boe of commercial reserves. The attached download includes our estimates of project FID, production start-up, reserves, capital expenditure, internal rate of return (IRR) and value.
