Gobe Main
Report summary
The Gobe Main field is located in the Southern Highlands of PNG. A gas discovery was made in 1993 by Chevron's Gobe-4x. Gobe-4x ST, was the first well to intersect oil in the field.Gobe Main is located in PDL 4. It shares production facilities and infrastructure with the SE Gobe field, which is split between PDL 3 and PDL 4. Gobe Main and SE Gobe were brought onstream in March and April 1998 respectively.
