On 11 July 2017, Halcón Resources Corporation (Halcón) announced the sale of its operated assets in the Williston Basin to an affiliate of Bruin E&P Partners, a portfolio company of Arclight Capital Partners, for US$1.4 billion in cash. The deal includes 105,900 net acres in Williams, McKenzie and Dunn counties producing approximately 29,000 net boe/d.
