Hazira
Report summary
The Hazira field lies in shallow waters in the Gulf of Cambay, off the west coast of India. The field is operated by Niko Resources and began commercial gas production in 1996 from a land-based drilling platform. Offshore facilities were later installed following a successful appraisal programme.Output peaked in 2005 at more than 140 mmcfd of gas but production has been declining since then.
