International perspective on Western Canada: Asia trip takeaways
Report summary
From 23 October to 1 November 2017, Wood Mackenzie visited Tokyo and Korea to present our views on developments in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Audiences included E&P companies and government bodies. We came back from Asia having dispelled a few myths on Canada being high cost while realising that many of the questions we answer on a daily basis in Calgary are the same questions first asked in Tokyo and Seoul. The insight provides an overview on activity level, WCSB play hotspots, economic benchmarking and other operational metrics.
