Report summary
This analysis summarises the estimated reserves and production for commercial oil and gas discoveries in Israel that are not covered by individual asset reports. All of the fields are either onstream or have historical production. There are fifteen other hydrocarbon discoveries within Israel, eight oil and seven gas, which are either producing or have ceased production. Of these only one gas field, Zohar, and two oil fields,Meged and Heletz-Brur-Kokhav, continue to produce. The Meged oil field, operated by Givot Olam, offers the best prospects for future domestic oil production.
