Report summary
Azerbaijan's large offshore Karabakh oil and gas field is targeted for development by state-owned SOCAR and BP. Karabakh lies around 15 kilometres northeast of the super-giant Azeri Chirag Guneshli (ACG) field. A successful appraisal well in 2020 estimated STOIIP at 440 million barrels of oil.
