Report summary
Azerbaijan's large offshore Karabakh oil and gas field is targeted for development by state-owned SOCAR. It was previously operated by Equinor and SOCAR via a 50:50 JV, Karabakh Joint Operating Company (KJOC). Following Equinor's exit from Azerbaijan in 2023, the field is wholly owned by SOCAR.
