Report summary

The Karakuduk oil field is located in southwest Kazakhstan. It is operated by Karakudukmunai (KKM) which is a JV of Sinopec Group and Sinopec Corp its listed subsidiary. LUKOIL was previously a key partner but exited the project in 2015 as part of a US$1.1 billion sale of stakes in four Kazakh assets.Karakuduk reached peak oil production of more than 30 000 b/d in 2010.
