The Kårstø terminal in Norway is Europe's largest gas processing facility. The facility was built to facilitate gas flows from various fields in the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The first fields to use the terminal were those connected via Statpipe. Currently there are around 30 fields that are connected to the terminal.
