Report summary
The Kelasu block contains three large gas fields Kela-2, Dabei-1 and Keshen, which are situated in the Kuche Depression, northern Tarim Basin. Kela-2 and Keshen are adjacent, while Dabei-1 is about 90 kilometres to the east of Kela-2. The three fields supply gas to the eastern gas markets via the West-East pipeline and are the main sources of supply for the pipeline. The gas is predominantly dry and contains little CO2 and H2S.
