Report summary
Wood Mackenzie spent 10 days in Nairobi, Kampala and Dar es Salaam in March 2016 as part of our annual upstream research trip to East Africa. We met with 15 upstream E&P companies; senior government representatives and key service and financial sector contacts to discuss key themes and current events. Hot topics included the Uganda/Kenya export pipeline, progress on Tanzanian LNG and regulatory and fiscal changes across the region. This insight contains key takeaways from our trip.
