LLA 34 is located in the Southern Llanos Basin of Colombia. Since acquiring the block, GeoPark has made several discoveries. LLA 34 consists of heavy oil fields: Aruco, Chachalaca, Jacana, Max, Taro Taro, Tigana, Tigana Norte, Tigana Sur, Tilo, and Tua. The LLA 34 block is located in the prolific onshore Llanos basin with oil shows seen in the Mirador, Guadalupe, Gacheta and Ubaque formations. The two main productive reservoirs in the block are the Guadalupe (produces approximately 21-29 degree API oil) and Mirador (produces approximately 15.5 API degree oil) sandstones.
