The Maari development is located in the offshore Taranaki Basin. The Manaia field was discovered in 1969 followed by Maari in 1983. At the time both were considered non commercial.The development utilises a wellhead platform and a FPSO. The FPSO was originally leased but was purchased by the joint venture in March 2013.
