A potential industry crisis has been averted in Denmark, with the sanction of a major redevelopment. The Maersk-led producing group, the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), has committed to investing US$3.3 billion in the largest ever project on the Danish shelf. The Tyra Future project is hugely significant to Denmark for a number of reasons.
