The Mahani gas and condensate field is situated in block Area B, approximately 40 kilometres inland in Sharjah, UAE. It was discovered in January 2020 by the state-owned Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC), which operates the Area B block in partnership with Eni. Development of the discovery was fast-tracked, with first gas achieved in January 2021.
